It all started back in 1978 when Neville Garner, EPB's owner and Managing Director, produced the UK's first Teacher's Planner. He had been in the teaching profession for more than 17 years and knew what was needed; the Teacher's Planner had to be the right design at the right price. Year by year sales increased and 'The Teacher's Planner' became established as the key planning book for secondary school teachers; today more than 60% of secondary schools buy the planner.
Educational Planning Books have been the market leaders in planning books for teachers and students for over 29 years. We sell to thousands of primary and secondary schools and individuals throughout the whole of the UK and to over 30 countries around the world.
We believe our planning books help to improve standards in all schools because they allow teachers and students to plan and organise their work better and more effectively.
A range of diaries for lower years, GCSE students and 6th Form students followed along with Record Books, Governors Files and a range of planning books for Primary School teachers and pupils. Several printing firms have copied our products but we have stayed ahead of the game.
It has been tempting to publicise our planning book 'As seen on TV' because television companies requested our planners to lend authenticity to episodes of 'Brookside' and 'Teachers' on Channel 4; such temptation was resisted. More recently, we were asked to supply Teachers Planners for the film "Notes on a Scandal" starring Judy Dench and Kate Blanchett.
We have a small but devoted team of workers who are dedicated to ensuring that your orders are invoiced quickly, packed carefully and despatched as soon as possible by Royal Mail, Parcelforce, DHL and Tuffnells the carriers.
