They serve different purposes. Use a teacher planner for lessons and daily organisation, and a record book for marks, attendance and longer-term class records.
This product is the perfect size and the layout is good – there is just enough space to write in all the necessary information, and the perfect number of pages for my requirements. Again, it’s good quality and the soft covers are fine because I do not bring this home with me every night, so it doesn’t need to be as tough as the planner.
