OUR STORY
Planning Books Shaped By Classroom Experience
Educational Planning Books began in 1978 when founder Neville Garner created the UK’s first Teacher’s Planner.
Designed With Teachers In Mind From The Start
Neville had already spent nearly 20 years teaching, so he understood that a useful planner needed a practical layout and a price schools could work with.
The original Teacher’s Planner became established with secondary school teachers. The range then grew to include academic diaries for KS1, KS2 and secondary pupils, planning books for primary teachers, record books and products for teaching assistants and school teams.

Educational Planning Books is run by founder Neville Garner’s son, James, together with a dedicated team at Bamford Works in Derbyshire. Some team members have worked with the company for more than 20 years.
Products are British made. Product materials come from well-managed sources and are FSC® certified or recycled, while the company works to reduce packaging and minimise waste.
