It all started in 1978 when Neville Garner, EPB’s founder, produced the UK’s first Teacher’s Planner. Neville had been teaching for nearly 20 years, so he knew what was needed – The Teacher’s Planner not only had to be the right design but also the right price.

Sales increased yearly and ‘The Teacher’s Planner’ became established as the key planning book for secondary school teachers. Today over 60% of UK secondary schools buy the planner as well as it being sold to over 50 countries worldwide.

A range of academic diaries followed for KS1, KS2 and secondary school students as well as a range of planning books for primary school teachers. After that Record Books, Teaching Assistant’s Planners and School Governor’s Files were also introduced.
